I made a bunch of birthday tags to attach to gifts. I used a variety of birthday stamps and some scraps of card stock and designer paper.
Then I cut off the corners with the tag corner punch.

Bliss

I made this card for a friend's birthday and I just love it.

The stamp set is a Sale-a-bration set I just got, called Bliss.

I used the Framed tulips textured impressions embossing folder for the big shot. "Bliss" is punched out with the curly label punch.

The colors are Elegant Eggplant and Daffodil Delight.

Spring is almost here!

I have a stamp set called Printed Petals that I got a while ago, but never used. It is so pretty so I decided to make some "springy" cards. One more week and spring is officially here.

Anyway, here is the stamp set. It has the clear mount stamps and I used the acrylic blocks with them.

For this card, I used Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango. The ribbon is striped pumpkin pie. I punched out the small flowers with the 1/2" circle punch.

For this card, I used some of the newer colors- Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight.

The flower is punched with the scallop punch and the stem/leaves were made using the little leaves die for the Big shot. The background was made with the perfect polka dots embossing folder.

Simple Birthday Cards

These are 2 elegant yet simple birthday cards made with embossing folders (for the Big Shot). For the first one, I used the "elegant bouquet" textured impressions embossing folder and colored in some of the flowers with the versamarker, just to give them some texture. The button is cut out using the buttons sizzlet die.

For the second card, I used the "perfect polka dots" embossing folder and the top note die.

The color is So Saffon and the sentiment is from "whimsical words", a sale-a-bration set from last year.
You can see the embossing better in the first picture, for the first card and in the second picture, for the second card.

New Baby cards

I made this boy card for a friend a few months ago.. yes, just getting around to posting it!

And over the weekend, my mother-in-law asked me if I had any girl baby cards. So I used the boy card as a sample and made her these 2 girl cards. They were quick and easy.

For the girl card on the left, I used the perfect polka dot impressions folder for the big shot to make the strip in the middle. For both cards, I used the Whisper White organza ribbon.

Bookmarks and Tags for the Girl Scouts

I had a great evening with a great group of girls scouts in Whitehouse Station. We made bookmarks and coordinating tags for a project they are working on. It is a book fair and bake sale for St. Hubert's, a local animal welfare center. As you an see from the pictures, the theme was dogs and cats.

Fun was had by all!

Thank you Debbie and Carol for loaning me some of the supplies.
And thanks to the troop leaders Lisa and Joanne, and also Alicia for coordinating!

Halloween Treat Bags.. better late than never!

Ok, Halloween is long over but just getting around to posting pics of some cute treat bags I made.
The first 2 pictures are the little bags I made for the kids at school. The tops of the bags were made using the "spider web impressions folder" for the Big shot. The stamp used is from the Batty for You stamp set. Cute and quick to make.

The next picture is of little treat boxes made using the Candy Wrapper die for the Big Shot. The stamps are from the Fang-tastic stamp set. Thank you Debbie for the idea.

Kid birthday cards

I am going to a birthday party tomorrow for my friend's son and I was trying to figure out a good card for a boy. I looked through my stamp sets (I have so many flowery, cute, girly ones!) and I found the Zoofari set. I wanted to make something colorful, happy, and cheery. So I settled on these two and I used the Jersey Shore designer paper. I love this paper, but it's retired.
Then I colored the animals with my stampin markers. I hope he likes them!

Springy "thinking of you" card

I haven't been stamping much and I need to start doing more. Here are 2 cards I made recently but haven't had a chance to post.

I used the Top Note die with the Big shot and stamped it with a flower stamp from the Simply Said set. The sentiment is from the Whimsical Words set I got during Sale-a-bration. I punched it out with the Curly label punch and colored in the flowers with markers. The DSP is Razzleberry Lemonade.

Colors used: Crushed curry, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry

Easter and Mother's Day cards

Here are 2 cards I recently made.

For the Easter card:
The only stamping on this card is the "Happy Easter" sentiment from the Teeny Tiny wishes set. This set is a great one to have.

Paper: Pretty in Pink, Raspberry Tart DSP (retired)
Punches: Scallop Edge (from Sale-a-bration), 5 petal flower, and Modern Label

For the Mother's Day card, I used the new clear stamps with the acrylic blocks.

The stamp set is Vintage Vogue from the Occasion Mini catalog. Very easy to use, and you can see exactly where you are stamping. The "happy mother's day" is also from the Teeny Tiny wishes set.
Paper: Melon Mambo (in color), Brilliant Blue
Ink: Melon Mambo, Brilliant Blue, Old Olive
Punches: Scallop Oval and Wide Oval

Sale-a-bration Freebies

Don't forget.. one more month left on the Sale-a-bration promotion. For every $50 you spend in product, you to choose 1 item from the brochure. Here is a picture of some of the free stuff I received. The punch and paper pack are both great. I can't wait to mount the stamps and start using them! Could someone PLEASE add more hours to my day??!!

Birthday Miscellaneous

Here are some other birthday pics. They are not stamping projects, but go along with the train theme. Each little cake is a train car made with oreo wheels. I didn't like the way the engine came out so I am not posting it.

And these are cute little trains made from a kit. Each train was put together (all the wood pieces were glued) and then the trains were painted. It's so cute because the trains hook together. There are 7 total in the collection, so 2 more to go! Makes for happy little boys!

Birthday Thank You

Here's the thank you card (Effie.. I know you wanted to see it). I like it, but not as cute as the invitation. See below.

I just used a train border punch for the top and the little people are stamped with the "All in the Family" set and then colored in with a blender pen.

Valentine Treat Bags

My friend and I got together and we made valentine treat bags. We dipped valentine peeps in chocolate, put them in a baggie, and decorated tops for the bags. We tried to be creative and made them all a little different.

The punches used were the Full Heart, Scallop Circle, and Heart to Heart. The stamps were from several different sets: mostly from Love you Much and Simply Said. It was fun but exhausting!! I am attaching 2 pictures. I hope the kids like the treats!!

Valentine Gift Boxes

I used the same template from the Christmas boxes to make these. They are the same size, but I used the new Scallop border punch on the red one to make the top decorative and then I pinched the sides closed.

Red box:
It's hard to see, but I used a stamp from the Love You Much set to stamp the box in hearts.
The big heart on the front is from the Simply Said set and is punched out with the Heart punch.
And the ribbon is the Real Red striped ribbon to match the paper.

Pink box:
The big heart is from the Simply Said set and the little heart is from the Short and Sweet set.
The paper is Pretty in Pink and the ribbon is the Organza ribbon.
